The Energy Law of the People's Republic of China is the fundamental and overarching law in the field of energy in China. It came into effect on January 1, 2025, and has elevated the guarantee mechanism for the consumption of renewable energy electricity to a legal system. It clearly supports the priority development and utilization of renewable energy, encourages the development of new technologies, new formats, and new models such as smart microgrids and comprehensive energy services.
This summit focuses on energy development and utilization, with a focus on accelerating the construction of a new type of power system with new energy as the main body, strengthening the coordinated construction of power supply and grid, promoting the intelligent transformation of grid infrastructure and the construction of smart microgrids, and improving the grid's acceptance, configuration, and control capabilities for renewable energy; Focusing on improving energy utilization efficiency, encouraging the development of distributed energy and multi energy complementary and multi energy integrated energy services, actively promoting market-oriented energy-saving services such as contract energy management, and improving the level of clean, low-carbon, efficient, and intelligent terminal energy consumption. And in accordance with the notice of the National Development and Reform Commission, National Energy Administration, and National Data Bureau on the issuance of the Action Plan for Accelerating the Construction of a New Power System (2024-2027); The National Development and Reform Commission and six other departments have issued the Guiding Opinions on Vigorously Implementing the Action of Renewable Energy Substitution (NDRC Energy (2024) No. 1537), implementing policy driven measures to serve the sustainable development of the new energy industry.
As the photovoltaic industry proposed "technological innovation, overseas expansion, avoid internal competing and social responsibility", the theme of this forum comes to be "Energy Internet - Enabling China's Energy Governance Modernization". Organize discussions among professionals from various fields such as politics, industry, academia, research, application, experts, and entrepreneurs to provide a platform for top-level design and technical path exchange and discussion for technological innovation in the new energy industry, and to assist in the transformation of China's energy structure and the achievement of green and low-carbon development goals.
